It’s Cider & Perry Month – July 2026
What’s happening near you?
July is Cider Month and because it proved so popular last year we are once again focusing on “Cider in the City”.
Exeter is a city surrounded by beautiful countryside in which 33 artisan cider makers spend all year planting, harvesting, juicing and blending apples to make fantastic local cider.
We are encouraging our city pubs to stock a local Devon cider during the summer months. A map featuring city pubs selling “Real” cider i.e. not made from concentrate, has been produced and is available to download from these pages in order that as many people as possible are able to find and visit pubs in Exeter selling a real cider.
After the success of our inaugural city cider stroll in 2025, a second City Cider Stroll
is planned on Saturday 18th July, starting at Double Locks, Exeter at their one-day Cider Festival, along the canal into the city and taking in some of the better cider pubs.

The Tom Cobley Tavern, Spreyton
Branch CPOTY presentation. A slot will be found during Bandamonium to present
their award.
What on earth is Bandamonium? well it is a day that sees brass bands travelling around various locations and playing!
As one band finishes another arrives! Chaotic fun that goes well with a glass of cider!
