Cider Pub Of The Year (CPOTY)
About the Award
The National Cider & Perry Pub of the Year recognises the best pub or club that promotes and encourages the sale of quality real cider and perry across the country. There are four stages to the competition starting with each CAMRA branch voting for their own CPOTY in March; through to regional rounds and the national winner being announced in October.
Exeter & East Devon CAMRA CPOTY 2025
In 2025 the following pubs were nominated for
Exeter and East Devon branch CPOTY:
The Bicton Inn
The Dog & Donkey, Knowle
The New Inn, Coleford
The Old Fire House, Exeter
The Sir Walter Raleigh, East Budleigh
The Tom Cobley Tavern, Spreyton
The final result was:
1st: The Tom Cobley Tavern, Spreyton, 105 points
2nd: The New Inn, Coleford, 65 points
3rd: The Old Fire House, Exeter, 48 points
Huge congratulations to them all!
The Tom Cobley now once again goes through to the regional round of the competition where we wish them the very best of luck.
How fantastic to have such a great selection of real ciders in these lovely pubs!
Presentations to the winner and runner up will take place as follows:
Saturday 28th June: Runner up presentation to The New Inn, Coleford approx. 1pm
Saturday 26th July: Winner presentation to The Tom Cobley, Spreyton approx. 1pm
