It’s Cider & Perry Month – July 2025

It’s Cider & Perry Month – July 2025
What’s happening near you?
July is Cider Month and this year we will be focusing on “Cider in the City”.
Exeter is a city surrounded by beautiful countryside in which 33 artisan cider makers spend all year planting, harvesting, juicing and blending apples to make fantastic local cider.
We are encouraging our city pubs to stock a local Devon cider during the summer months. A map featuring city pubs selling “Real” cider i.e. not made from concentrate, will be produced and circulated as part of our next branch magazine, Ed. 104 Summer 2025. It will also be available to download from these pages in order that as many people as possible are able to find and visit pubs in Exeter selling a real cider.
A City Cider Stroll is planned, starting at Double Locks, along the canal into the city and taking in some of the better cider pubs.
(Date in July still to be finalised.)
