Sat 3rd December - Christmas Lunch at The Tom Cobley Tavern, Spreyton.
A coach is booked, usual pick-ups, and is a bit cheaper than last time, but I expect fare
to be £12 pp (always depending on how many come). Still some seats left on the coach.
Please let me know if you want one. I will require coach payment up front (we are definitely
not allowed to make a loss on this.

in Cowick Street for 'Tap Takeover' featuring Hanlons Brewery.
Around 4 Hanlons beers are on tap and nibbles will be provided.

The landlord of the Exeter Inn, Matt Cox, will kindly open early for us and
promises breakfast baps to go with his ales. He needs to know numbers for this
so please let me know if you intend to come. We have 2 hours in Thorverton before
the next bus and the delights of Tiverton.

Wednesday 17th Aug - Bradninch & Cullompton- lot of pubs need updating.
Meet Exeter Bus station (Stand 1) for 11.30 bus to Bradninch. Both pubs should be open,
then on to Cullompton and start at the Pony & Trap (closes 2pm)
Saturday 13th Aug - Topsham to Exmouth
11.00am start at the Exeter Inn, Topsham where Peter is opening early for us.
12.00-1.00pm Bridge Inn for lunch (if required). Other pubs in Topsham are available.
From here move off by whatever method you fancy - walk, bike, scooter, bus, canoe(?)
but not trains due to strike, to Puffing Billy, Exton then carry on to Redwing, Lympstone.
Then on to Exmouth and gather at the GWRSA Railway Club at about 4.30pm.
After that the rest of Exmouth awaits you!!

(later trains are the same times each hour)
10.15 Bus X51 from outside Axminster Station to Bridport, arr. 11:20
(later buses are 15 minutes after each hour)
Tour of pubs starting at the Ropemakers (Palmers), West St; maybe eat here
Followed probably by Pursuit of Hoppiness, The Bull, The Tiger inn, The Woodman Inn.
Other pubs are available e.g. Market House, Greyhound ('spoons), Lord Nelson, Hope & Anchor.
Bus back to Axminster 2.38, 3.38, 4.38 hopefully to visit
Axminster Inn and Ale Way.
Train back to Exeter etc. leave at 3 minutes past each hour.
