FOWA 2022 COVID Mitigation Measures

FOWA 2022 COVID Mitigation Measures.

Our Festival of Winter Ales is taking place on the Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd January
at Exeter City Football club.

To clarify, we will be taking the following measures to alleviate the risk of COVID.

- Covid advice notices will be placed on tables, etc.
- A dedicated cleaner will be going around constantly cleaning tables, handles etc.
- Face coverings will be provided for those that haven’t got them.
- Plastic shielding is provided on certain sections of the festival bar.
- Wrist bands are normally put on the customer's wrist by festival staff;
to ensure as little contact as possible, customers will now put on their own bands.
- Bar separation is provided thus stopping people leaning on the bar.
- Hand sanitiser will be provided for all areas.
- All rooms and staircases will have an air flow along with fans and air extractors.
- All fire doors will be open with magnetic or similar holding devices.
- Public and Staff are being asked to have a LFT before arrival.
- It is recommended that staff and the public only attend if fully Vaccinated.

Furthermore:
Games and Live Music has been shelved this year so as not to encourage people walking,
dancing, jumping with joy when they win a bottle of beer, etc.

We are trying to make this festival as safe as possible and we're sure the steps taken above
will greatly assist in achieving this.
