See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

The Puffing Billy is a pub and restaurant located in the village of Exton just on the east side of the Exe estuary about 15 minutes from Exeter and Exmouth, and right on the Exmouth to Exeter Route 2 cycle trail. The pub serves traditional English food, with each dish made freshly on site each day, made with local produce where possible. Real ales usually come from South West Breweries such as Otter, Bath Ales and Bays. There is a secluded garden and outside tables at the front of the pub for relaxing in the sunshine as you watch the world go by. The pub is easily accessible by foot, bike, train or car, and buses stop about 400 metres away. The Puffing Billy is well known for its food, and is very popular for miles around.
