Late 18th-century historic coaching inn, with stone flagged entrance porch, alcove fireplace and wood-burning stove. The former parcel office, with glass panels and curved door, can still be seen at the back of the main room. There are usually around 6 real ales, often from Parkway and Exmoor Breweries, frequently Exmoor Beast, 4 on handpump & 2 direct from the cask. A beer festival is held each October.
