A 300 year-old village inn, by a medieval stone bridge over the River Culm. A rustic bar leads on to a side room and terrace, then through to the restaurant area. The pub last changed owner in November 2014, when it underwent some sympathetic improvements. There is a large car park at the front and a raised fenced area with seating, which was once a railway goods siding. The beer list is an ever changing list of four, sourced from the South West peninsula. Regular breweries include Dartmoor, Salcombe, Hanlons, St Austell and Quantock. The long-serving chef has talent.
