See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

A 300 year-old village inn, by a medieval stone bridge on the River Culm. A rustic bar leads on to a side room, then through to the restaurant area. The pub has been under completely new ownership and management since November 2014, and has undergone some sympathetic improvements. There is a large car park at the front and a raised fenced area with seating, which was once a railway goods siding. The beer list is ever changing, with occasional extra ones served under gravity. There is usually one beer from the Otter range and often ones from Salcombe and Dartmoor breweries.
