Once again we are having a Branch trip to the excellent Wedmore Real Ale Festival, on Saturday 14th September.

The beer & cider list will become available in early September; last year it comprised around 100 beers and 25 ciders.

The Itinerary by rail and minibus taxi is as follows:

Saturday 14th September
(EXM-EXD 08:55-09:26, plus 29m transfer)
EXD 09:55 - 10:35 Highbridge & Burnham via Taunton - 40mins.
£22.40 rtn, less 1/3 off with Railcard = £14.75 rtn, for the leg from/to EXD.
Taxi to Wedmore (20 mins, 8 miles) for the 11 am Opening.

Cost per head according to final numbers, likely to be around £9-£10 return,
per head. Cash on the day, please.
The festival is free entry at the time we arrive.
Taxi from Wedmore back to Highbridge station:
4:50 pm for 17:35 - 18:44 EXD, 1:09 m, 1 change at Taunton.
22m transfer time, Just under 6 hours at the festival.
(EXD 19:16 to EXM arr 19:45, after 32m transfer at EXD)

We will have two 16-seater taxis.
