Just three miles from Exeter, and three miles from Newton st Cyres, formerly the Stables; it reopened with a fresh look rooted in history and honest hospitality. An historic Devon country pub and former blacksmith's shop. Significant as a traveller's stop. It was managed by the Ellis family from 1879 until the 1960s, notably functioning as a flourishing agricultural engineering site in the late 19th century. The pub features a 'Rock Bar' style in the 70s & 80s.
