Thatched 16th-century Grade II listed former farmhouse carefully and tastefully restored and reopened in 2013, just west of the village. The original Five Bells moved in the 19th century away from the church that gave it the name. Primarily food-oriented, though there is an area for drinkers. The restaurant offers imaginative cooking rather than pub grub. There is a large car park and extensive beer garden.
