Formerly a sub-post office, The Pig and Pickle is owned and operated by Two Tipsy Pigs Ltd and is an independent free house and micropub with three handpumps, one of which serves traditional cider, two serve cask ales, often from breweries not generally seen in Heavitree. All three are constantly changing. They do not serve food but customers may bring their own in with them. There is a very small outside drinking area at the front with room for three or four bar stools only. The toilets are at the back of the pub and accessed up four steep steps and are named 'Stand Up Wee' and 'Sit Down Wee'. The bar is decorated with an eclectic mix of objects and pictures including an upside down skateboard on the ceiling. There is also a large mirror with descriptions of various beer styles written in chalk around it.

Accessibility - Access to pub from pavement but not suitable for wheelchair access due to door width and position of bar, toilet facilities are up four step
