Traditional country inn, set in the Blackdown Hills near the Somerset border, with spectacular views over the Culm Valley. It was probably built originally as a cottage in the 13th century for stonemasons while they built the nearby church. Fresh locally sourced foods are on the menu, with themed evening menus, pie night on Tuesday, and a fish and chips eat-in or take-away option on Friday nights. Live musical entertainment takes place on Wednesdays. Two guest beers are available and a beer festival is held each May.
