Family friendly free house, believed to date from the 17th-century, set in the idyllic village of Uplowman. The pub offers good-value food lunchtimes and evenings in the bar or restaurant. There is a large garden, and a skittle alley. The guest beer often comes from Exe Valley Brewery. Limited parking is available at the front of the pub, extra at the village hall. Will close early if quiet.
