A fine community-owned pub in the centre of this hilltop village set in beautiful rolling countryside. It re-opened on 10 November 2012, having been closed since New Year's Eve 2011. A warm and convivial atmosphere is provided, serving good-quality home-cooked food from local suppliers, and up to three real ales. There are fixed price menus for Sunday Club and Ladies Night on Thursdays. Traditional games are played, and there is a garden to enjoy in the warm weather, and an open fire for the winter.
