See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
A small traditional village centre pub, full of character. It continues to be a family run pub under the new landlords, the Cox brothers. The walls and ceilings are covered by a collection of weapons, armoury, military equipment, artisan items and brasses. There is also a glass covered deep well. An open log fire, plus an oil burning stove, help give the interior a warm welcoming atmosphere. The village car park can be found 100 metres to the west. Changing beer is usually from local breweries such as Exe Valley, Exeter brewery or Utopian. There will be more regular food in the future, Special events such as Quiz nights will have food available and there will be brunch on Sunday mornings. The pub will close when there are no more customers.
