See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
A small traditional village centre pub, full of character. It has been run by the same family for over 60 years. The walls and ceilings are covered by a collection of weapons, armoury, military equipment, artisan items and brasses. There is also a glass covered deep well. An open log fire, plus a wood burning stove, help give the interior a warm welcoming atmosphere. The village car park can be found 200 metres to the west. Changing beer is usually from local breweries such as Otter, Exeter or Hanlons.
