A family owned and run hotel, located right on Sidmouth's seafront, with 37 en-suite bedrooms, many with pleasant panoramic views across Lyme Bay. The hotel is tastefully furnished with comfortable lounges, the Pynes bar being the front lounge, where up to two real ales are on offer. The restaurant offers a choice of eating styles, with menus prepared using fresh West Country produce where possible. These include traditional seaside favourites, speciality fish and daily specials. Food is available lunchtimes and evenings, including traditional roasts on Sundays, lunch and evening. There are speciality nights in the Pynes bar, Wednesday is curry night, Thursday pie night and Sunday roast night. Pleasant views can be seen from the outside area, which is also a popular spot for morning coffee. Limited car parking is available at the rear of and around the hotel. There is a large public car park opposite.
