Grade II-listed 16th-century thatched pub with a large secluded garden, set in a picturesque estate village of cob and limewashed cottages within the Blackdown Hills. There are low-beamed ceilings and uneven floor levels throughout the many rooms. This is a friendly and welcoming family run venue with the emphasis on local real ales and produce. Good food is served from Monday to Friday lunchtime and evenings and all day Saturday and lunchtimes on Sunday.
