Thatched Devon longhouse that became a pub in the early 1800s. It was rebuilt after a major fire in 2004, retaining a welcoming atmosphere and gaining excellent toilets with disabled access. There is a large, safe garden, and a well-used skittle alley. A quiz night is held monthly on the first Sunday, with other events that maintain the pub's position as an important part of village life. Food will be available soon, check website for details.
