A Grade II-listed hotel in the village centre, with 22 en-suite rooms. The Lounge Bar (closed 3-6 daily) is a comfortable hotel bar, while the Long Bar is the public bar, and attracts a strong local following. Each has one guest beer in winter and two in summer. Meals are served in both bars and in the restaurant, every lunchtime and evening. There is fortnightly live music. Dogs and families are welcome. The bar has traditional wooden fixtures and fittings plus a real fire, bar skittles and an old-fashioned weighing machine.
