See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Popular city centre pub entered via a courtyard and spread over three floors. Over the years the number of real ales stocked has fallen and the number of ciders has risen. Real ales are served on gravity and are generally sourced locally. A good selection of BiB ciders are always available, some, but not all, conform to CAMRA's real cider definition. Pizza is the main food (14" square and essentially for sharing) while on a Sunday lunchtime a traditional roast is served. Monday evening from 8pm for the quiz; Live music every Friday and Saturday from 10pm. The pub is close to Exeter High Street bus stops and Central railway station. No children under ten allowed, due to licence restrictions and over 18's only after 5pm. Card payment only.
