This is a friendly locals pub, reputedly the oldest of Dawlish's pubs, dating from 1642, and is situated in the old part of town. It has a large patio and garden, and a covered heated smoking area. A real cider is always available and there is an outside bar during the summer months from May onwards. Dogs are welcome. Disability access by WC and toilet both doable. Toilets on the flat, but narrow.
